Use any money exchange at the airport.

We recommend exchanging $100 at the airport for cab money. After that, you should use an exchange close to your hotel. See below for more information in Super Rich.

We recommend that you add a sim card to your phone at the airport. Getting this done before you leave the airport is super helpful. Purchase an unlimited plan for the amount of time you are staying in Thailand.

All three of these are good providers. They are located after VIsa Entry just past baggage claim.

Look for a row to Cellular data providers. This take 5 minutes. That's it. If you do not get this done at the airport, you can stop in any 7-11 store.
