It all began in the summer of 2020 in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, where two paths crossed and forever changed the course of our lives. After meeting through mutual friends at what was our first social gathering since the start of COVID, we knew that we had found something special, something worth holding onto. Though life had other plans, and distance stretched between us, we made it work—our bond only growing stronger with each passing day.

Despite moving to Baltimore to start my nursing career amid a global health crisis, we continued to navigate the ups and downs of long-distance, opposite work schedules, and the inevitable twists life throws our way. But through it all, we stayed connected, proving time and time again that love knows no boundaries. Whether it was a quick phone call before I started my 12 hour shift, Sean taking a weekend trip to Baltimore to come and see me, or driving back home to Bucks County to see Sean, we never let the distance dim the light of what we had.

Our journey wasn’t always easy, but it was ours, and it’s a story we wouldn’t change for the world. Now, after all the challenges, the laughter, and the memories we’ve built together, we’re finally here—ready to start the next chapter, side by side.
