Q + A

Is there a dress code?

Dressy casual. We want our guests to be comfortable and to dress for the weather. Our ceremony will take place outside under a pavilion and our reception will be indoors. Tents will be set up outside along with our bar. We just ask that our guests avoid wearing colors that are traditionally reserved for the bride (whites, creams and ivories). We are also asking guests to avoid wearing emerald green and gold, as it is the color of our wedding party.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at any hotels?

We had rooms blocked off for the wedding party and close family members.

Are there hotels near by?

The closest hotel is going to be Chisholm Inn and Suites.

Will there be transportation provided?

No. Hibbing offers taxi services.

What type of food will be served?

We are doing a pasta bar buffet with salad and bread sticks. We will also have our own personal wedding cake and cupcakes for guests.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

We have been together for four years now and we have everything we need. We are asking for cash gifts to go towards our honeymoon. We have a cash registry set up on this site and we will also have a card box at the reception.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Due to limited capacity, we can only allow people named on the invitation. Your invite will be made out to “{ your name } & guest” if a plus one has been given to you.

Am I allowed to bring my children?

Yes. We will have activities for the kids, there is also a playground. Just please let us know if they will be attending when you RSVP.

What time should I arrive at the wedding ceremony?

The wedding will start at 3pm, so please be ready to get started by 230pm.

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Yes. Our reception will start at 5pm. We will be doing pictures after the ceremony. The bar will be open, there will be appetizers and outside games.

Am I allowed to take pictures?

Yes. We just asked that it is not distracting.

Can I post pictures online?

Yes. We ask to wait until we have posted first.
