Tyrone and Kristen met at St. Augustine's Catholic Church (where we are getting married!) at the 8am mass years ago, but connected at a breakfast at our church in the Fall of 2019. Tyrone and Kristen both supported this breakfast as part of our different ministries within the church. A few weeks later, Tyrone joined Kristen's "Feet on the Street" Homeless Outreach Ministry, and we started participating in church events together.

Finally, on March 6, 2020, it was official... We went on our first date and never looked back since. :). After our first date, everything shut down with COVID, so we had to be creative in getting to know each other. We spent tons of time biking and hiking, going to outdoor museums and gardens in the city, working out on the deck, cooking, talking, and laughing. Our friends and family couldn't see us for months because of the shut-down, and we were already crazy in love when things opened up again.

Through the past almost 4 years, we have had the time of our lives, supporting each other every day with our strong faith and love for each other. On May 6, 2023 (Tyrone's birthday!), Kristen surprised Tyrone with a fitness birthday cake and Tyrone surprised Kristen with a proposal. (No surprise on what the answer was!). Then on July 8, 2023, we bought our first home together where we live together with Jacob, Tyrone's son and Kristen's future step-son. :). We couldn't be happier to all be living together in our beautiful new home God blessed us with.

You, our closest family and friends, are so important in our lives together and our journeys to become who we are today. We can't wait to celebrate our love with you at our wedding in June!
