Our Wedding

It was a bright day in March. Kristen and Nathan had been talking for a short time, but this was the day they would finally meet in person. Nathan spotted Kristen first as he turned the corner toward Third and Hollywood, the California-inspired restaurant where they had agreed to meet. Her blonde hair caught the light as she walked toward the building, and in that moment, she became a wonder of the world to him. He couldn’t have been more excited, except for one small problem. He couldn’t find a parking spot…. The space he had planned to take was scooped up by none other than the woman he would one day marry. Frantically, Nathan circled the block, hit the gas, and eventually found another spot - just in time to be late. Not exactly the first impression he’d hoped for. He burst through the door, and there she was, in all her beautiful glory. The night was young and marked the beginning of something special. Conversation flowed easily, time slipped by unnoticed, and before long, Nathan knew he had to see her again. Soon after, he convinced Kristen to go rock climbing with him. She agreed and Nathan could hardly sleep because he was so excited. When the day arrived, it was filled with adrenaline, laughter, and the beginning of truly getting to know one another - testing limits, encouraging each other, and discovering just how well they fit. Kristen’s willingness to try new things, attention to detail, calm strength, and caring nature captivated Nathan. The two quickly became inseparable, spending their days exploring, laughing, and doing life together. What started as simple dates soon grew into something deeper. Together, they faced challenges, chased adventures, traveled to new places, and found strength in one another. Through it all, their love grew - steady, joyful, and unwavering. And that journey, filled with love, growth, and countless memories, is what brings us together to celebrate the deep and enduring love Kristen and Nathan share.

Situated on 40 acres on the eastern side of Franklin Park, the Conservatory features the historic 1895 John F. Wolfe Palm House, 83,000 square feet of glasshouses, botanical gardens&nbsp;and meeting and event spaces. The Conservatory is home to internationally recognized light artist James Turrell’s Light Raiment II, which illuminates the John F. Wolfe Palm House every evening from dusk until dawn.

Rotating exhibits fill its recently opened modern art wing, and there are ample areas to explore and create art of your own.&nbsp;Interactive stations outside many galleries offer more ways to process and create art.&nbsp;

For more than 95 years, the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium has evolved to be a cornerstone of the community and a destination inspiring the appreciation and conservation of many of the earth's most amazing animals.
