Kris and Doug met at Cadillac Ranch in Fayetteville. Doug asked Kris to dance and then on a date a week later. On their first date they went to Whiskey Kitchen and then boxcar to play arcade games. It's still a debated topic who kicked who's butt at Mario Cart and Skee Ball.

In their free time they LOVE to be outdoors. Hiking & golfing are two of their favorite things to do together. Occasionally, you can still find them two-stepping around a dance floor trying to learn new moves. On any given evening they will be in their backyard listening to 90's country and playing a mean round of corn hole.

Soon after moving to Monroe, they brought Riley into their family. He is a 1 year old Dutch who has the biggest personality. If you invite them, you had better expect the four legged baby as well.

Next year they want to take their honeymoon in Canada. Traveling from Calgary through Banff all the way to Jasper National Park. It's been on both of their bucket lists for a long time.

The mountains have always been a special place for both of them. Their first trip together was to Asheville in the spring of 2022. Since then they have made the trip to the mountains for various reasons including a birthday trip for Doug. It turned into their engagement at Omni Grove Park.

After considering different venues, the mountains were calling them back. They chose Hendersonville for the quaint town and gorgeous mountain feeling.
