It is a state park so there is a fee, but it is beautiful. There is a but that takes you up most of the mountain and you can either hike the short way up or take the elevator.

Only 35 min from the venue. Close to the airport. We don't care for their hoppy brews, but the venue is gorgeous and should really be seen even if its to waste time before catching your flight!

Downtown Asheville

Downtown Asheville is very walkable with breweries in most areas and lots to see. Parking is sometimes a pain, so best to pay to park then walk. Very artsy, lot of areas have bluegrass bands set up in the evenings and little shops to walk through.
