Q + A

When should we RSVP by?

We ask that you please RSVP by May 1, 2024.

When should we arrive in Maui?

You can stay in Maui for as many days as you'd like! There's a slight time change, so it might be nice to come a day or two ahead of time. We'll be in Maui from Saturday, August 3 through Saturday, August 10. We're planning some optional group activities, so if you're coming for longer than the wedding we'd love you to join in!

Where should we stay?

We'll be staying in the Kaanapali area. There are lots of hotel and Airbnb options nearby that we recommend looking into! We're planning to stay at the Westin Maui Resort and Spa in Kaanapali. If you want to be added to our room block, you can book through the Travel page on this website.

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes there is limited parking, but we recommend carpooling or grabbing an Uber/Lyft if you plan to drink. Additionally, if you're staying at the Westin hotel with us, there is a complimentary shuttle running from 12:05pm - 7:05pm to and from the Ritz Carlton - which is next door to the venue.

What is the dress code?

Semi-formal. It's a wedding and there will be lots of photos, but we're also in Hawaii and there's no reason for you to wear something that you'll be uncomfortable in all evening.

What time should I arrive at the venue?

Plan to arrive by 3:30pm as the ceremony will start at 4pm.

Will there be food?

Yes! There will be food and drinks all evening long.

Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony and reception will both take place outside, weather permitting.

What will the weather be like?

It's typical for the weather to be in the 80's in Maui in August. There could be some rain or some wind, but should be warm and pleasant!

I can't make the trip to Maui, but I still want to be part of the day

We absolutely understand that not everyone will be able to make the trip to Maui! Although we'd love for everyone to celebrate in person (and on the dance floor!) we get that it's not in the cards for everyone. We're looking into options to livestream and/or record the ceremony so you can watch from home.

Should we get a rental car?

Although it's not necessary to get a rental car, we highly recommend getting one if you'd like to explore the island beyond your resort.

Can I bring a guest?

Due to venue capacity, we will only be able to accommodate those who are listed on your invitation. However, this is your vacation too and if you'd like to bring friends and family to join you on the rest of the trip, please do!

Will there be dancing?

Would it be a party if there wasn't?! We'll meet you on the dance floor.

Are there any group activities for the week?

Yes! Please check out the Weekly Activities page on our website!
