Our Wedding

Kristina and Derek met like so many do: online. Their first date was an average Wednesday evening that ended up being anything but average. That first date ended after hours of conversation and non-stop laughter with the bartender asking them to leave because the restaurant had closed without the two noticing. They have been pretty inseparable ever since. Each of them knew immediately that what they had stumbled upon was more than special. After two years together the two got engaged at the Mandalay Bay Aquarium in Las Vegas with his parents, Tammie and Rusty Duff, and her parents, Mike and Jody McGinnis, watching on in support. Kristina and Derek cannot wait to start this next chapter together as husband and wife.

ETG will be providing transportation via shuttle buses from the hotels to the venue on a continuing basis throughout the evening, beginning before the ceremony and throughout the reception, breaking briefly for dinner. Guests are encouraged to park at either hotel listed above to utilize the shuttle service at no additional cost but there will be plenty of self-parking available at the venue.

Dress Code

Dress code is semi-formal. For gentlemen a suit, or trouser and blazer combo - the tie is optional. For ladies cocktail dress or skirt and top combo. In the spirit of the gorgeous horse farm venue, we encourage all guests to wear their Derby day best if desired. Think fun colors and patterns! Below is a collage to provide inspiration for guests!

Transportation

A shuttle service will begin running regular intervals to and from the embassy suites and springhill suites in Bowling Green. The shuttle service will begin running at 3:30 and will cease service at 10:30. Please feel free to park at either hotel and utilize the shuttle service if you wish to partake in the open bar. The venue is approximately 15 minutes from the hotels, save yourself some gas let us get you there!
