Santa Barbara is a wonderful place to wander, shop, eat and drink. A great place to walk around is the Funk Zone Santa Barbara as well as State Street. Starting at 10 am on Sundays at the pier is a wonderful local art & crafts market that runs along the waterfront.
Carpinteria (aka Carp) is a small town. We recommend popping into the cute shops and strolling down the main street (Linden Ave) to the ocean and then even continuing for a beach walk. The beach in Carp is amazing and very kid-friendly! We recommend a relaxing beach day ahead of the wedding. If you're seeking more activities and places to explore, Santa Barbara will offer more.
