Given many of you will be attending an Indian wedding for the first time, we wanted to provide you with some guidance on attire for each event. Please note that we will be getting married in June when the weather in Philadelphia will be warm. A majority of our events are taking place outside so please choose appropriate footwear and clothing!

While it's not a requirement to wear Indian attire for our events, if you'd like to fully embrace Indian culture we've included a guide below with some details you might find to be helpful.

If you choose not to wear Indian attire:

Pre-Wedding Events

Sundresses and long skirts for women or linen pants/ casual pants for men are recommended.

Please no shorts, t-shirts, or jeans.

Ceremony + Reception

Please dress in summer formal wear.

Our wedding is a celebration of our love and an opportunity for our friends and family to experience both our cultures.

While we don't have a strict color scheme, we'd love if everyone wore fun vibrant colors to our ceremony and reception, it is summer after all! We've provided a grid below of possible colors, however feel free to wear what you feel confident in.
