Lane and Kyle met in Denver, Colorado thanks to Bumble — a modern beginning that somehow led to an old-school kind of love -- not just love, moving states, co-parenting two cats, and planning a wedding across the country.

Their first date was at Ocean Prime, where Lane casually mentioned that if she had $250,000 lying around, she’d put a down payment on a Pagani Huayra. Kyle, naturally, fell in love on the spot.

The years that followed were filled with road trips, coffee-fueled mornings, and gradually blending their lives — which included Kyle, a lifelong dog person, being adopted by Lane’s two cats: Coco and Louis. Despite his protests, he is now a full-blown cat dad. He doesn’t talk about it, but the cats have photos.

After falling for each other (and eventually, the cats), they moved to Florida — Kyle’s home turf — where they’ve been building a life together, one Amazon package at a time. But if you ask them where they really want to be? It’s a quiet house on a lake, in the middle of nowhere, where they can homestead, grow things, and finally adopt a dog (Kyle insisted that part be included).
