Piper (or known as Pipe or Pipes) is my little sister! She is currently in graduate school at LeHigh Univeristy in Bethlehem, PA for school psychology. Piper and I had the traditional older-sister-little-sister relationship where she has always found me annoying and bossy and which still is true today😉 All jokes aside, I couldn't be luckier to have a little sister as caring and supportive as Piper. She is so good at listening and knows how to perfectly deliver difficult feedback when I need to hear it. She's my reality check in life but also the only person I can use my silly imagination with as we've compared and talked about our ideas for writing fiction novels since we were little. For the wedding, Piper is delivering a speech at the reception because who better to write a speech than the girl who I can chat for hours with about writing itself?

Megan (or also known as Meg and Meggie) is my closest in age cousin on my mom's side of the family who is recently married to her husband, Rudy. Meg lived with Kyle and I for almost a year when she moved from NY to Virginia and recently moved back to West Virginia. Meg accidentally introduced Kyle and I, and also helped orchestrate our engagement. Can't love her enough for that!!

Rae (or also known as Rae Rae and recently Grae) is also a cousin on my mom's side of the family who currently lives in Maui, Hawaii (JEALOUS) and is the most free-spirited angel I know. Rae and I share a love for photography and in our late teen years to early twenties, you could often find us trying to take creative pictures in places like run-down laundry mats. For the wedding, Rae Rae is our Content Queen because if there is anyone I can trust to not only get a good angle of me (or anyone else) she is also the person I know who can put a smile on anyone's face.

Panya (or also known as Pan, Panya May, or Peep), is the youngest cousin on my mom's side of the family at 19 years old and currently in college at Mercyhurst University. She cheers for their football and basketball teams and you can often find her jamming out to any music artist you can think of. She is my go-to girl for anything music-related and my favorite memory with her was seeing the Weeknd in concert in Washington DC a few years ago. For the wedding, Panya is our Playlist Princess who will be the DJ for getting ready the morning of the wedding and throughout the bachelorette. She never plays a song I don’t love!!

Kirstin (or also known as Kir) is one of my longest standing friendships, dating back to single digits of age. She just got married to her hubby, Matthew, and we celebrated her at an intimate gathering at her parents home in Portville, NY where I have fond memories of us as kids. She currently lives in Fayetteville, NC with Matthew and her 3 cats (we are both crazy cat ladies) and 1 horse. Kir is best known to me as the friend who can make me laugh in any situation and also my go-to girl for a fun night out in our college days. Dancing on tables used to be her specialty and I pray I get to see it at least one more time either at the bachelorette or during the wedding 😉 For the wedding, Kirstin is our Groomsmen Wrangler in part because of her horse background (see what I did there lol) and partially because I know she doesn’t take any shit and will keep the guys in line if needed.

Makayla (or also known as Mak to me and Kay to some others), is additionally a friend of mine who dates back to single digits. She is currently living in Buffalo with her boyfriend Brandon and going to school for Occupational Therapy. Mak and I share a common thread of wanting to succeed in everything we do (to the extreme lol) so much so that she went to the Olympic Trials for swimming instead of high school graduation! She is also a Gemini (we generally celebrate birthdays together) so we also share a lot of other personality traits. I feel like I'm talking to myself in a mirror when I talk with her. For the wedding, Makayla's type A personality makes her role as Bachelorette Bestie applicable to lead communications and plan an awesome party!

Marissa (also known as Mars), is going to be my newest little sister! She is recently engaged to my future brother-in-law, Josh, and they live together in Rochester with their sweet pup Arya. She's a nurse in the NICU and if you get to meet her, you'll know why she couldn't be more perfect for that role! I met Marissa for the first time when her and Josh came down to visit us in Virginia and we went out on Lake Anna for the day. We drank, laughed, and played volleyball on a sandbar in the lake, making an instant connection, where all I could think at the time was "I hope her and Josh get married someday!" So now you can only imagine my excitement that I will get to call her my sister only a few months after our wedding...they get married in November 2025. Marissa is our Breakfast Bestie, making sure we all get something to eat and a much needed cup of coffee on the morning of the wedding!
