HOW DID YOU MEET?: Jennifer met Emily at UW-Whitewater in Dr. Nath's Public History class.----------------

FAVORITE MEMORY: "I have so many favorite memories 
with Jennifer! From our first public history class, to our Madison adventures, working at Old World together, and Jennifer serving as my maid of honor, I’m so grateful that so many special moments involve her! Getting to know Kyle has been a joy! I’ve enjoyed going over to his and Jennifer’s place for meals, and when we spent Halloween together last year. "--------------------


FUN FACT: Emily has worked in local, state and federal government roles. She is a regular old Leslie Knope!

FAVORITE MEMORY: "Way too many memories with Kyle to choose one but a favorite from forever ago was one random day fighting over a garbage can as I was trying to peel oranges and he wanted to throw something away. I don’t even know what was happening but we couldn’t stop laughing. Favorite from more recent would be Kyle traveling to St. Croix USVI to visit me on my semester there. We did just about everything we could without a car😂"----------------------------
FUN FACT: Elli would bring every animal home from the humane society every time if her parents wouldn’t kill her.

HOW DID YOU MEET?: Megan is Jennifer's cousin. They grew up together always enjoying swimming, hiking, and being silly.--------------------------
FAVORITE MEMORY: "Growing up, Jennifer and I weren't just cousins, we were best friends! Our imaginations ran wild and we always found new adventures. From sneaky sleepover shenanigans to swimming at the lake, there are too many memories to pick a favorite. Watching Jennifer fall in love is everything I’ve wanted for her, and she found an amazing man to spend her life with!"-------
FUN FACT: Megan is a black belt in taekwondo and used to carry a card that certified her as a weapon

HOW DID YOU MEET: Tessa and Jennifer attended preschool at the Red Balloon together.

HOW DID YOU MEET?: Catherine and Jennifer lived across the hall from each other in Wells West at UW-Whitewater. Their RA abandoned them the first night and they met outside of the bookstore. ----------------

FAVORITE MEMORY: "There’s so many! Trips to Lauber’s, Nav Night, and museums are some memorable ones. I especially cherish when I would wake up early for work and our apartment was covered in post-it’s with fun messages :) " -----------------------


FUN FACT: Catherine says surfing in the Great Lakes is underrated! It was her favorite sport as a kid.

HOW DID YOU MEET?: Jennifer and Ruth met at UW-Whitewater through mutual friends at Navigators. 
FAVORITE MEMORY: "All the beautiful, sweet conversations that we have had together through the years. From dinners at parks, Bible discussions, board games, and more, it has all been so wonderful. But, one funny time was when Jennifer and I went to a park and while there she tried to climb onto a spiderweb like playground netting and got stuck in the middle of it."---------------------------

HOW DID YOU MEET?: Jordan's and Kyle's parents were part of the same bible study group for Accession Lutheran church in Waukesha. They would spend time together while the study was going on. -------------------
FAVORITE MEMORY: "One of the funniest memory's that I have with Kyle would be the time that I got him to believe that Castle Rock Campground was haunted. I got him to believe that there was a witch in the lake and the whole campground was a haunted mess. Additionally, being there for the proposal was amazing."----------------------------

FUN FACT: Jordan has one reception in his high school career as a center.

HOW DID WE MEET?: Kyle met Austin at Milwaukee Area Technical College. Austin was reciting the entire script of the Jurassic Park movie by heart and Kyle stood awkwardly listening to the whole thing, they became friends by proxy. -----------------
FAVORITE MEMORY: "Too many to have a favorite but one that sticks out is the weekend I spent with Kyle and Papa Melka recording ice fishing b-roll and I stuffed myself with a giant Philly cheesesteak!!"-------------------------
FUN FACT: Austin imitates things to a fault (but 9 times out of 10 it's spot on lol)

HOW DID WE MEET? Christian and Kyle met working at the same Shell in Mukwonago. They worked there together until Kyle got moved to BP. They now go on D&D adventures together.

Museums and Historic Sites 

This is an awesome museum in the area and Jennifers Matron of Honor works there. It is such a pretty setting on the shore of Lake Michigan as well. Be sure to watch their 360 film in the gallery- it was filmed at one of Jennifers favorite places.

Civil War Museum

This is Jennifers place of employment and one of her favorite places to be. Old World is only open on weekends in May, but is a great place to visit on the way out of town. Jennifer will not be working there that weekend for obvious reasons. On a short visit she would recommend a trip to the 1880s Blacksmith shop, the 1900s school, 1880s Pom Farm, 1930s Tavern, and 1860s Norwegian Farm. She takes care of all the objects and exhibits there and loves to share Wisconsins history with others.

Hiking and Nature

This 21.4 mile shore path is one we know well. We have walked this path both in sections and in one sitting. This is a lovely and safe path that features beautiful views, a nice terrain and lots of birdhouses. If you are looking for a place to pick it up we recommend parking in Big Foot State park or by Harpoon Willies in Williams Bay. Both include free parking. Lake Geneva proper also has free parking after 7:00pm. We recommend walking a distance and then turning around and walking back. You are walking through the yards of the big mansions on the lake, some of the path is better maintained that others.

Places that Mean a Lot to Us

This is where we met! And it is an awesome place to be.We met in the back of the building where there used to be a multi purpose room for groups. The building is now under constuction to add a gym there. But it also used to be an old Walmart-so things change.If you are looking to go to church on Sunday we would recommend stopping by for service. The weekend of the wedding they are virtual only but you can find the link on their website. Who knows you might just meet your future spouse.

This is where we shared our first kiss and third date. We also had our engagement photos taken here. This is simply one of the most peaceful places we have found. This place will also always be part of our love story.

First of all we are not picky people. We have no color code or overbaring dress code here. We want you to feel confident and comfortable. We will have an outdoor wedding. Please dress for the weather and pray for no rain!So this is the general defintion of our dress code:Polished and stylish, but not overly dress or casual, with flexible colors.The big things to avoid are jeans, shorts, tennis shoes, and t-shirts. We also suggest avoiding small or tall heels because we will be walking on grass for part of the day.If you have questions or concerns please let us know, but we are not overly concerned about what you wear as long as you have fun.
