Kyle and Vanessa first met when Vanessa moved from Alberta to Ontario in grade 5. Being the new girl she was nervous to make friends so they didn't become close friends until a few years later. Once high school came around, we slowly drifted apart as we developed our own friend groups but we never stopped caring about each other as friends. During the summer going into grade 12, we reconnected and ended up developed feelings for each other. Soon after we made it official and started dating - shocking all of our classmates who had known us since elementary school. From then on we experienced many life events/accomplishments together such as Prom, College graduation, Covid isolation with the Strachans, moving into our first apartment, raising our beautiful dog Milo to getting engaged on July 25, 2023 on a mountain top in Waterton Park, Alberta. We are so excited for what life has in store for us in our future together and would like to thank our family and friends who have supported us along the way!
