The beginning of Seth & Kylee’s relationship goes way back to the early years of high school. Thanks to their mutual best friend, Tanner, Seth started joining in on summer Shasta Lake trips. Eventually, the friendship between Kylee & Seth started to grow into something more. Seth was quicker to the conclusion that maybe their relationship was more than just friends. Kylee, on the other hand, took her sweet time. (Spoiler alert, Seth eventually made it out of the friendzone).

Shortly after high school graduation, Kylee & Seth began dating. Life took them on separate paths as Seth joined the Air Force, stationed in England, and Kylee left for Boise State. Over the next four years, they had many adventures together and apart, always prioritizing time together through Facetime dates and trips back and forth.

Upon Kylee’s graduation from Boise State, she picked up her life and moved out to Charleston, South Carolina to join Seth as he completed the remainder of his military contract. They spent 7 months together enjoying all that Charleston had to offer: beaches, BBQ, new friendships, and southern hospitality.

The time came to choose the next adventure and Kylee easily convinced Seth that Boise was calling so back to Boise they went. Over the last few years, Seth has attended Boise State while Kylee started her career. They made home, adopted their best friend (Dani the Border Collie) and are currently enjoying many friendships and adventures in Idaho.

On a family trip to Cabo San Lucas in December 2022, Seth found the perfect time to pop the question. While Kylee and family were enjoying time on the beach, Seth got down on one knee and Kylee easily said “YES!”.

THE RING

Kylee’s ring holds a very special story. The ring was originally Kylee’s great-grandma’s, Gigi.

Gigi and Great Grandpa were performers on the USO tour during World War II. Kylee’s great-grandpa gave it to Gigi while they were stationed in England in the early 1940s. Gigi wore the ring very proudly for the remainder of her life and they shared an incredible love story that is one for the ages. Kylee feels very honored to wear the ring and carries their love story with her as she starts her own.
