What time should I arrive to the Venue?

The wedding ceremony will take place at 5:30pm. We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes early so that guests have time to get comfortable at the venue. We ask that if you arrive late to the ceremony to please find your way to the cocktail party where we can party with you!

What is the dress code?

We would love to see our family and friends get fancy with us for our special day! Our dress code is cocktail/ semi-formal attire. If you are able, we encourage you to wear jewel tones with our wedding party. Ladies are welcome to wear mid to floor length dresses. Gentleman may wear a suit and tie or sports coat. Please refrain from wearing jeans or colors typically reserved for the bride: white, cream, ivory, etc.

When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP as soon as you can. The deadline for RSVP's is September 21st 2024.

What happens if I don't RSVP in time?

Unfortunately we may not be able to accommodate you if you RSVP late. We will need to provide our venues with exact guest count by a certain date. Please be sure to RSVP as soon as possible.

Can I take pictures/ videos?

We will have an unplugged ceremony (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give is being fully present when we say, "I do." We plan on having a moment during the ceremony for you to take all the pictures you want. Please wait for that time, which will be announced by our officiant. We have hired a professional photographer and videographer to capture all of the cherished moments of the day. We promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many pictures as you would like!

Can I bring my child(ren)?

We love your little ones so much but for this night we have decided to keep our wedding an adult only event. (the only exception to this will be children to immediate family) Invitations will be specific and include names of the children who are invited. We hope you understand and enjoy the night as a date night!

Can I bring a date?

We are so excited to celebrate this day with our nearest and dearest! Both of us come from big families, and we want to have as many loved ones in attendance as possible while also respecting the guest limit of our gorgeous venue. Thank you for not bringing a guest unless otherwise specified on your invitation.

What will be the weather be like?

Looking at past weather trends, we are hopeful for sunny weather in the high 60s to 70s with a cooler night in the 40s to 50s.

Is the Venue indoors or outdoors?

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors. the reception will be held in the Garrison Pavillion at the venue. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be moved to a covered pavilion. Heaters and storm curtains can also be utilized if needed.

How do I get to the Wedding?

The address is 6188 Hwy Y, French Village, Mo 63036. The Terrace at French Village can be found going south bound on I-55 heading away from St. Louis. 17 miles past Festus you will take exit 157 left for State Highway Y toward Bloomsdale. Just over nine miles through the autumnal country roads you will find the hidden Terrace Winery

When I get to the The Terrace where do I go?

We will have signs and ushers on the property to lead you to the ceremony space. Below is an image of the property to give you an idea of where everything is.

Is parking available at The Terrace?

The terrace offers two parking lots. One is across the road so please use caution as you cross the street. The other is attached to the venue.

I have a dietary restriction. What should I do?

Please indicate on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

Will there be transportation?

Unfortunately we are unable to provide transportation. Please plan accordingly.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! We will have an open bar of wine and beer.

Is there a hotel block?

There are nearby hotels under the travel tab, but there is not an official hotel block.
