One of our favorite spots (and the first time Kyndall ever took Dustin paddleboarding) is Evergreen Lake. It's a beautiful lake nestled in the mountains with a gorgeous walking trail surrounding it. It also has a cute downtown area full of bars, restaurants, and shopping also within walking distance.

Free beer! What more do we need to say to convince you?? Home of the famous silver bullet where every Coors beer is brewed. The beer really does taste fresher here! The tour as well as the tasting is all free.

Pro tip: You get 3 full size beers but they will try to give you a small one half way through the tour. Hold out and wait for the full size at the end! They do not allow purses so be sure to leave it in the car or you will be making a trip back.

One of our personal favorites, Red rocks has hosted some of the best artists in the world. It is open to the public during the day as it is a national historic landmark. Drive to the top to go straight to the best view or hike one of the surrounding trails which varies from beginner to intermediate to get there the hard way. Either way you won't be disappointed by the stunning scenery.
