It's the best zoo in the United States. If you only do one thing in San Diego, it should be this!

Right next to the San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park is where culture, science, and nature collide. Balboa Park is home to more than 16 museums, multiple performing arts venues, lovely gardens, trails, and many other creative and recreational attractions. With a variety of cultural institutions among its 1,200 beautiful and lushly planted acres, there is something for everyone. Check out the website above for more information.

If you love sea life this is a great place. Bring the littles for a day of fun with sea animals and hopefully a firework show at the end of the day.

Seen a lot of animals at the Zoo and SeaWorld but still have not had enough? Head over to the Safari Park, known to the natives as the "Wild Animal Park". 30 miles north of downtown, the Wild Animal Park is a great place to see the larger animals as they might be seen in their native Asia and Africa environments.

Amazing views of the Pacific Ocean, San Diego Bay, Downtown, and even a historic lighthouse. Go early, traffic at the gate can be brutal!

Coronado Island is right across from San Diego. A beautiful, vibrant place with historic hotels, good food, and beautiful beaches. Spend a couple of hours or a day in the beautiful island of Coronado and don't forget to visit the Hotel del Coronado.

Want to go to the beach? Are you thirsty for some good beer? Say no more, Pacific Beach is your one-stop-shop. Enjoy the beach and then walk to any number of fun beach bars where everyone hangs loose bruh.
