Joey and Lacey both make Tinder accounts. Lacey just moved and wanted to make some new friends. Joey wanted the opportunity to meet new people. Lacey's bio says that she just moved to the area and "loves dogs, Vines, late night adventures, deep talks, proper grammar, and Taco Bell."

They talk all day on Snapchat while Joey is working at Jewel. Things are going well so he asks if Lacey wants to hangout once he gets off work. Lacey is babysitting her nephews so she takes a while to respond but eventually agrees.
