WHERE IS THE VENUE?
Our venue is in Port Barrington, IL 60010. The exact address will be noted on the formal invitation as well as on the RSVP portion of the website. Both our ceremony and reception will be held outdoors, so please plan accordingly.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Semi-formal attire is requested. We would love to see you dressed in a flowy dress, fancy skirt and top, an elegant pantsuit or a nice suit and tie. Please be aware that both our ceremony and reception will be held outdoors. It is supposed to be hot so please dress appropriately. We cannot wait to see you!
DO I GET A PLUS ONE?
We are so excited to celebrate our special day with all of you! Due to space limitations and to ensure an intimate atmosphere, we kindly request that only those guests listed by name on the invitation attend. While we would love to accommodate everyone with a plus one, we hope you understand our need to keep our guest list within our venue's capacity.
WHERE SHOULD I PARK?
If you plan on driving, there are two free parking lots available to you. Access Shelter A from the preserve's main entrance on Roberts Road, turn right at the first intersection and follow the road to the first parking lot on the left. If this lot is full, access Shelter B from the preserve's main entrance on Roberts Road, turn left at first intersection and follow road to the first parking lot on the right.
WILL THERE BE A SHUTTLE?
Unfortunately, there were no shuttles available for our date in the area so please plan accordingly. We encourage guests to be responsible and consider using Uber, Lyft, or carpooling.
ARE CHILDREN INVITED?
While we love your little ones dearly, we kindly request that only those listed on the invitation join us for our celebration. We want this night to be fun and provide much-needed relaxation. We hope you understand and appreciate your cooperation.
MAY I TAKE PHOTOS?
For our ceremony, we kindly ask that you silence and hide all cell phones, cameras, and recording devices. We have hired professionals and promise to share their work. After the ceremony, you may take as many pictures and videos as you wish! We would love to see all the pictures and videos you take of our wedding. We will have signs around the venue with information on how to share them with us. Feel free to post to social media too! #PartyWithThePolsters
WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?
Please arrive 15 minutes early to the ceremony to give yourself enough time to get situated.
