Our Wedding

We may have taken our time getting here, but let us tell you, it was worth it! We met in March of 2006. Yes, you read that right—2006. Our first date was like many others: a little awkward and nerve-wracking but fun nonetheless. We went to the movies to see "Date Movie" and to those who have also seen it, you know it was not a great flick. But that ended up being a good thing for us because it broke the ice. After that first date, we were inseparable. We quickly became best friends and realized that every bad movie, monotonous task, and boring road trip could be so much more when we were together. Those things now became adventures and perfect times to make jokes, have side quests, and learn all we could about each other. Over the years that knowledge of each other would come in handy. We have been through so much together, and unfortunately, not every moment has been easy. Though being best friends has given us the ability to be able to not just hold each others hands when we are down but to pull each other back up. Here we are 19 years later. Still having adventures. Still making stupid jokes. Still cheering one another on. Still having the most random conversations, and knowing that tomorrow, we will love each other a little bit more, even though today it doesn't seem possible. We are beyond excited to share our special day with each and every one of you. Here’s to another exciting adventure and many more to come! Joe and Laci

Bailey is one of Laci's closest friends. She is a lover of books, travel and will accept any reason to get dressed up. She is a wonderful Mother to 3 unique and ornery children and has an affinity for throwing amazing parties but she is also down for a quiet day too when you just need to escape and have a girls day.

Jamie and Laci became fast friends while working together and never looked back. Jamie loves hallmark movies, ghost stories, and scary movies, always accompanied by wine and snacks of course. She is the Mother to an adorably floofy puppy named Zoey. Jamie has a unique kindness and positivity that draws people in and makes them want to be her friend.

Bethany and Laci have been close friends for many years. Bethany is a funny, snarky, and intelligent woman. She loves to travel, read and shop for unique items. She is the Mother of an adorable collection of pets. Although she is a badass world traveler serving our country she still finds time to come home from time to time and love us.

Emily is the oldest of Joe's two sisters. She is a funny, energetic and talented person. She has created a stunning family and life for herself.  She is the person that makes you wonder how she does it all and is still so nice. She always keeps us on our toes, laughing, and smiling.

Jill is the youngest of Joe's two sisters. She is a lovely, brilliant, strong person. She has traveled the world, built an amazing career and followed her dreams. She is smart and funny and goes after the things that she wants. Though she works incredibly hard, her family knows she is always there for them, she never forgets a birthday, or to make a trip back for a special event.

Scott aka NightMare  -  Has been friends with Joe since before the cars were fast and the streets were furious. Back when the cars said vroom not braap and there were no chips in our whips. We didn't know what Principle Park was but you might find us at Sec Taylor on a Saturday night.

Joe and Laci adopted Sherman aka Bronco Boy aka Shermie Squirms in May of 2024.  He is a smart, funny, and energetic puppy who has brought so much joy to Joe and Laci. He loves  people, treats and other dogs.

Chris-aka-Tall Chris Joe and Chris were what you would call good kids with a mischievous streak. You know like sliding in snowy parking lots, shooting tennis ball cannons with deodorant for propellant and maybe doing a little street racing on a nice night.

Trae -aka- T-Rae  Joe and Trae have a bromance that goes way back to the days when wide body civics were first in style and before being a sneakerhead was cool.  Trae is one of the most social antisocial people you might meet so don't let his hard exterior fool you he actually has a heart of gold.

Evan aka Carlos  became friends with Joe and Laci one memorable weekend in 2010. Once you have christened a hot tub with a dozen people while eating pizza off a planter it's hard to let a friendship go. Over the years we have had too many memorable experiences most of which include being on the verge of being asked to leave whatever establishment we are at and so many laughs that we can't count. We knew that our wedding would not be complete without him.

The Gigi Shuttle 

The Gigi Shuttle will be picking guests up from the Hampton Inn and Suites Downtown and taking them to Jasper Winery it will be leaving at 5:15 pm. The Gigi Shuttle will also be doing pick up runs every 45 minutes starting at 10 pm to return to the Hampton Inn and Suites Downtown the last pickup of the evening will be at 11:30. Jasper Winery does allow overnight parking in the grass lot south of the venue if anyone would like to elect to take the shuttle back to the Hampton Inn and Suites.
