We may have taken our time getting here, but let us tell you, it was worth it!

We met in March of 2006. Yes, you read that right—2006. Our first date was like many others: a little awkward and nerve-wracking but fun nonetheless. We went to the movies to see "Date Movie" and to those who have also seen it, you know it was not a great flick. But that ended up being a good thing for us because it broke the ice.

After that first date, we were inseparable. We quickly became best friends and realized that every bad movie, monotonous task, and boring road trip could be so much more when we were together. Those things now became adventures and a perfect time to make jokes, have side quests, and learn all we could about each other.

Over the years that knowledge of each other would come in handy. We have been through so much together, and unfortunately, not every moment has been easy. Being best friends is what has given us the ability to not only hold each other’s hand when we are down but to pull each other back up, and during the good times we’re always right there encouraging one another as well.

Here we are 19 years later. Still having adventures. Still making stupid jokes. Still having the most random conversations and knowing that tomorrow, we will love each other a little bit more, even though today it doesn't seem possible.

We are beyond excited to share our special day with each and every one of you. Here’s to another exciting adventure and many more to come!
