The venue is Rocky Hill Events. It is located in White Salmon, WA.
All guests will drive through Hood River, Oregon in order to get to the venue.
You may stay in either town of Hood River or White Salmon, as they are both within about a 10-15 minute drive of the venue.
***there is an unavoidable toll bridge that takes you over the river to get to White Salmon - the bridge has a toll that is $3.50 each way.
You will see large boulders at the entrance of the venue on your Right. Drive up the road and you’ll come to a parking lot on your left. There is a set of stairs and path that takes you up to the venue. There is also a round-about to drop people off as well (please no parking in round-about).
Can I bring my child?
Unfortunately, we kindly ask you leave your child with a sitter.
Due to limitations in max capacity at the venue, and headcounts for the caterer, we cannot accommodate all friends and family with children. Thank you. Let’s have a fun night out!

Where should I stay?
We were unable to make hotel blocks. I highly suggest making your room reservations at a nearby hotel or air b&b in White Salmon, WA or Hood River, OR
sooner rather than later!
This is a popular destination area, and some hotels may be booking up!
There is also a “guest concierge” number you can text (listed above). They can provide you with other nearby accommodations, but they do not book or reserve for you.
What airport should I fly into?
If you are traveling from out of state, I’m so happy you’ll join us!!
But I recommend you fly into the Portland, Oregon (PDX) airport, then travel appropriately 50 mins to Hood River/White Salmon.
It is recommended you have a rental car in order to conveniently explore the Columbia River Gorge- this is a very scenic road on the way towards the town of the venue.
Shane and Lacie live in Lake Tapps, WA. Which is 3 hours away from the venue.
So yes, technically the wedding is in WA, but it is a destination wedding for all !
