There are a lot of hikes in the area surrounding white salmon and Columbia River Gorge. Check out the website to find a hike that suits your level and interest! There are many views of the river, waterfalls, and mountains/volcanoes.
Recommend: Fall Creek Falls
This is an easy 3.4 mile (round trip) hike to one of the tallest waterfalls in WA. No permit required for this hike.
Have a day trip on the River with a fishing charter! There are many guides in the area particularly in the gorge near Hood River and Lyle.
Most common fish in this area includes steelhead (rainbow trout), sturgeon, and salmon depending on time of year.
