What's the deadline to R.S.V.P.?
Please R.S.V.P. no later than June 23rd!
What's the dress code?
The wedding and reception is formal. The theme is bright and colorful wildflowers! Please dress in your brightest summer formal attire (long dresses for women, suit and tie (optional)) for men.
Can I bring a plus one?
Check your invitation if a plus one is invited.
Can I bring my kids?
We love your little ones but the wedding ceremony and reception is for adults only.
Can I bring my pet(s)?
The Beach Retreat Resort is dog-friendly for an additional $50 fee each night. Up to (2) dogs are allowed per room.
Please leave your pets at the room or rental for the actual wedding :)
Is there parking at Valhalla?
Yes, but we don't recommend it. All vehicles must be off the premises NO LATER than 11 p.m. on Friday, August 9th or they will be towed. The property is strictly enforced by the U.S. Forest Service. Cars can be left overnight OUTSIDE Valhalla Tahoe's green gate only.
We will provide a shuttle from Beach Retreat Resort to and from Valhalla. We also recommend rideshare services like Uber and Lyft, especially if you are going to be drinking!
Valhalla is about 15 minutes or less from Beach Retreat and Stateline hotels.
What kind of weather can I expect for the wedding weekend?
On average, it's picture-perfect weather this time of year! Think warm days for outdoor adventures, cool nights for cozy fireside cuddles, and sunshine galore. ☀️
Temperatures during the day reach average highs of 83°F and at night, average lows of 55°F. August boasts over 90% sunshine, so pack your sunglasses and sunscreen! Rain rarely makes an appearance. The lake itself remains refreshingly cool, averaging around 55°F.
Will there be shade at the wedding?
For the most part, the wedding will be outside. There are several trees around the property and an indoor reception hall with shade for relief. Plan for a hot afternoon and cool evening.
What kind of shoes should I wear?
The majority of the wedding will be outside in the grass so make sure to avoid those stilettos!
