Our Wedding

It all started with a Red Sox hat! We met in Wisconsin while Steve was completing a Radiation Oncology Physics Residency and Lainey was completing a Speech and Language Pathology Clinical Fellowship year at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison. Steve, coming from Long Island, and Lainey just coming from Boston, began the joining of two rivals in Brewers' country. Our first date was at our favorite restaurant, Cafe Hollander shared over cheese curds and brandy old fashioneds. We debated who had the better baseball team, and naturally, Lainey won him over. The date went so well it lasted three hours! From then on, we were inseparable. Fast forward a year, Steve found himself in Fenway Park... cheering for the Yankees. After Wisconsin, we moved back to the East Coast to start our next chapter in NYC. We spent many weekends running through Central Park, trying different restaurants, and taking full advantage of what the city has to offer. On a cloudy March morning, Steve proposed to Lainey on the way to "brunch" at the Belvedere Castle in Central Park. It couldn't have been more perfect! We celebrated with our parents at the Boat House in Central Park. On the way back from our Fenway excursion, Lainey surprised Steve with an adorable, blue-eyed British Shorthair named Winston. He has been an energetic addition to our small family. We are excited to share our special day with everyone who has been a part of our journey on January 10, 2026!
