Margot Cafe & Bar

Margot Café & Bar is a French-inspired restaurant with Southern influences located in Five Points in the heart of East Nashville, just five minutes from downtown. The menu changes daily and focuses on locally sourced products, seasonal ingredients, freshness, and simplicity.

We highly recommend Margot's! Over the years, we've even taken both sets of our parents to Margot's to celebrate.

Rosemary & Beauty Queen

1102 Forest Avenue
(615) 730-7700

Rosemary & Beauty Queen is a true Nashville original.

Rosemary & Beauty Queen is an eclectic East Nashville bar serving burritos, sandwiches, and cocktails. It is in an old, yellow home near Five Points in a historic district. Driving by when the bar is closed, you might think someone's grandparents live there, but during the afternoon and night, it transforms into one of Nashville's best hangouts.

Open until 2:00 a.m. seven days a week, RBQ is one of our favorite bars in Nashville and a great place to visit any time.

Coco's Italian Market & Restaurant

411 51st Ave N
(615) 783-0114

This was a go-to eatery for LH during her early years in Nashville when she lived in The Nations.

Original recipes from old Italian families!

The owners have always prepared meals with the "freshest ingredients from colorful local purveyors: Giavani, the fish man; Pat at the produce stand; Giorgio, the butcher; and Giuseppe, who supplied us with imports from Italy."

A favorite that they still serve today is their Meatballs and the Manaste (greens and beans), which use many of the same imported ingredients used years ago in the dishes.

Superica

Tried and true recipes for comfort-food favorites like nachos, fajitas, and chili—it’s a way of life.

Superica's menu is known for featuring traditional Northern Mexican cuisine, colliding with the robust flavors of Texas ranchers’ kitchens.

Superica is located in The Gulch, just south of downtown Nashville.

Activities

12 South

12 South is where LH and Nick went on their first date! It is a cute street with bars, restaurants, and small shops. It is a great place to spend an afternoon. You can even see where Nick proposed if you walk through the adjacent Sevier Park.

Centennial Park

2500 West End Avenue

A great place to go for a walk -- right near the Loews hotel. This is one of Nashville's bigger parks, known for its exact-sized replica of the Parthenon. (But we think the Taylor Swift bench is the better attraction!)

Broadway

Lower Broadway is a strip of the bigger country music Honky Tonks. If you want to experience "NashVegas" this is where you wanna go. Broadway is a great place to catch live music and get a real taste of Nashville tourism.

The Bluebird Cafe

4104 Hillsboro Pike
(615) 383-1461

Although the hit TV show Nashville made it famous, The Bluebird Cafe has been around since the 1980s. More than 70,000 people visit annually to experience intimate performances in the round. The Bluebird has also been featured in National Geographic Traveler and The New York Times.

Visit the quaint, legendary location where some of country music's biggest icons performed before they even had record deals. Garth Brooks, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Kathy Mattea, Trisha Yearwood, Dierks Bentley, Faith Hill, and Vince Gill have all had career moments over the past 31 years.

Music Row

Picture of Music Row

Music Row has long been the center of Nashville's music industry. Within just a few blocks, the offices of record companies, music publishers, and other organizations merge to form a unique creative community.

Nestled within homes and buildings are the recording studios from which your favorite songs came to be, including everything from Elvis Presley's "How Great Thou Art" (recorded at Historic RCA Studio B) to Foo Fighters' "Congregation" (recorded at Southern Ground Nashville).

Take a tour to experience the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and the Historic RCA Studio B.
