Michael and Larysa met back in 2021, at a country dance hall in Denver—The Grizzly Rose. A mutual friend introduced them to each other, and they quickly bonded over their love of a good polka, live music, Seinfeld, and requesting unique drinks from their favorite bartenders.

They shared their first kiss on that New Years Eve, and went on their first date shortly after.
