Their story began at Mississippi State, when a mutual friend introduced Laura Beth to Will at the sorority where Laura Beth was involved, and Will worked. Over time, a friendship developed. They started seeing each other almost every day, and often hung out in groups on the weekends. Eventually, they began spending time together on their own, and that’s when their relationship began to grow.

After more than two and a half years of dating, Will decided it was time to propose. Laura Beth thought they were simply going to a venue just outside of Starkville to take engagement pictures of a couple they were friends with. Her friend had suggested the location at the venue, saying it was a great spot for photos. But instead of taking a picture, Will surprised her by asking her to marry him.
