Am I allowed to bring my children?

We love your children. However, our wedding is adults only. Thank you in advance for understanding and respecting our wishes.

Will you be providing transportation to and from your wedding venues?

No. There is adequate parking at both the ceremony and reception venues. The Bristol Harbor Inn and both of the B&B's noted on our Accommodation tab, are 0.3 miles or less from Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish. The ceremony site is also less than 0.3 miles to the Waterfront Pavilion at Bristol Harbor Inn, the reception venue.

Is there parking available near your wedding venues?

Yes. Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Parish, the ceremony site, has a parking lot behind the church that is for church guests only as well as a larger parking lot across the street that is open parking . For the reception, parking is provided for all wedding guests. If you are a hotel guest at the Bristol Harbor Inn you are allowed to park in any available guest parking spaces. If you are not a guest at the Inn, when you arrive, look for the “Valet/Event Parking” signs that will direct you to the correct parking lot. The address for this parking lot is 300 Thames Street, Bristol RI (250 feet away from the venue). There will be parking attendants available to assist you.

If I am not Catholic, can I receive communion?

We are excited to have you attend our wedding mass. If you are not Catholic, you can still participate in the prayer, hymns, and readings. However, during Holy Communion we ask that you either walk up with your arms crossed over your chest to receive a blessing from the priest or remain seated.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

We have decided to do an unplugged ceremony. There will be professional photographers there to capture all the special moments of the day. We kindly ask you to refrain from taking photos during our wedding ceremony. Please feel free to take as many photos as you would like at the reception!

If I have more questions about your wedding, who can I contact?
