Once upon a time two dudes decided they needed to set up their guy friend with a girl they knew. So Arev made sure Jeff was going to the LA Tri club picnic and Ron had his girlfriend Lena invite Laura to the picnic. Jeff and Laura were immediately drawn to each other and spent the entire picnic chitchatting. Laura was surprised when Jeff didn't get her number at the end of the event, but not to worry, she soon got a message from him inviting her to dinner the next night! After a few dinners out and a few dinners in, Jeff invited Laura to go dancing at Borderline Bar and Grill. That night they kissed for the first time and the rest is history!

The first trip they ever took together was to Cozumel for Jeff's second Ironman. They stayed at Cozumel Palace which is why they have chosen this venue to host their wedding. The island holds a special place in their hearts as a significant part of their love story.

On Nov 3rd, 2019 Jeff and Laura did their first race together, the Malibu Half Marathon. When Laura crossed the finish-line Jeff was waiting with a race medal and a ring. He proposed and she said yes and that's why you're now visiting this website!
