Laura and Dylan met during freshman orientation at Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania in August of 2015. Living just two doors down from each other, they quickly broke the golden rule of not dating your hall-mates: Dylan asked Laura out under a month into their time at F&M, on Laura’s 18th birthday (September 22nd, 2015). From then on, the couple was inseparable. Throughout their college careers, the two could often be found sharing “dinner-dates” in the dining hall, taking walks through the beautiful city of Lancaster, or even making the occasional “Sheetz run” at hours that civilized humans should have been asleep. When college graduation day came, Dylan and Laura walked across the stage back to back and shared their only official school graduation photo.

Their relationship has lasted through four years of college (including Laura’s three separate study abroad programs), two years of living long distance, and a global pandemic. When the world began to open back up, Laura and Dylan moved into their first apartment together just outside of Worcester, Massachusetts. The couple now lives in Boston along with their cat Alfie, who has been preparing for the wedding for years by wearing a tuxedo his entire life. Laura and Dylan will say “I do” on Laura's 27th Birthday and their 9th Anniversary.
