Unfortunately, despite Laura's research efforts going back 15 years to check the date of the marathon before picking our date, Hartford moved it for the first time in decades. The marathon IS the morning of our wedding.
The ceremony begins promptly at 10:30a. We recommend allowing time to arrive early as Hartford will be busy that morning with the marathon. There will be road closures, but our venue has assured us it will be accessible. Please plan accordingly.
What is the dress code?
We are dressing our best! We would love to see our guests in semi-formal attire. We suggest men wear a shirt and tie with dress pants/suit while women wear a cocktail dress.
Am I allowed to bring my children?
We love all your kids, but we really wanted to keep this to an adults only wedding.
Can I bring a plus one?
If your invitation is addressed to you and your guest, your plus one is welcome. Due to venue restrictions we unfortunately can't give everyone a plus one.
Where is the ceremony/reception?
For our fall wedding, both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors. The ceremony and reception will also both be held at The Society Room. One venue for everything!
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes! Parking is provided in the lot attached to the venue. Guests will receive a parking voucher upon entry to the ceremony that will cover parking when they leave the reception.
What type of food will be served?
Cocktail hour will consist of passed hors d'oeuvres and a table station, followed by a three-course plated dinner and dessert/coffee.
Will there be an open bar?
Yes! Starting at cocktail hour through the end of the reception we will have an open bar.
