NO. Mexico does NOT require a negative Covid test to gain entry and does not impose any vaccination requirements.

YES. You must provide a negative Covid test within 72 hours of the reception to gain entry into the Botanical Garden grounds. The Garden is a historical location and is federally operated, hence the negative Covid test requirement.

YES. There are 2 options: (1.) Bring your own at-home test kit that is approved for international returning travel. It must have a QR code that links to an online doctor/nurse observer during your test that verifies the results in real time. We recommend using this one: LINK HERE ***NOTE: Check with your airline for approved tests (2.) There are 2 local labs within walking distance of the wedding that can administer tests & email results within a few hours. See "Things to Do" tab for location and lab information.

You must either take an Antigen or PCR Covid test the day before your flight departure to get back into the US. This means if you fly out on Sunday (7/24), you must take and receive a negative Antigen or PCR Covid test on Saturday (7/23). Without this negative Covid test, you will be barred from re-entry to the USA.

There are 2 labs within walking distance of the Etnobotanico Jardin for 800 pesos (approx. $40 USD) that provide results within 6 hours. They will email you the results. You can also use these labs for your return flight Covid test when returning home to the US.

NO. The city is very walkable! You will take a cab from the airport (about 20-25 mins to the city center). You can walk just about everywhere once you get to the center of town. Here are directions & photos of getting a cab from the airport.
