[IN LAURA'S WORDS]   It's 2018 - I'm a bridesmaid and Will is a groomsmen in Michelle and Mike's wedding. During group photos, I asked Will if he could hold my sparkly purse. He didn't hesitate. This show of confidence, secure in his manhood even while holding a purse, the kindness in his actions and the fact he looked good in a suit, is what made him catch my eye. Later in the night, as I'm enjoying drinks with my dad and friends at the bar, Will asked me formally to dance. I've never left a bar faster. We danced the night away and haven't left each other's lives since that night. 2 years of long distance dating, 2 years living in a one bedroom apartment, to now owning a home and 3 dogs, we have had quite the journey. And it all started with a wedding dance.   [IN WILL'S WORDS]   I had met Laura many times over the years, and I always admired her wit and her grab life by the horns bravado, but I always admired her from afar. On that fateful day in 2018 on the groomsmen bus a proclamation was made-- Laura's single now boys! The proverbial gauntlet had been thrown down and the liquid courage had runneth over for many hours. When fate sent a slow song I saw Laura standing by the bar with her father and one of life's rare now or never moments presented itself and I asked her dance. Although I was able to snatch her from her father, she wouldn't let me steal a kiss on the dance floor in front of friends and family (understandable, to be fair). Little did I know that those wobbly first few steps would begin the journey of a lifetime.

Newark Liberty International Airport

If you would like to take public transportation from the Newark airport, you can take the AirTrain directly to the closest NJ Transit station (Newark Airport). If you are flying into New York City, you can access NJ Transit at Penn Station. From NY/NJ, you can ride NJ Transit using the Teal colored / North Jersey Coast Line (toward Long Branch) and take it to Asbury Park. Check the NJ Transit app or ask your train conductor if you are unsure where to get off, as you may need to transfer at Long Branch for a local line. Your ticket purchase will cover any transfers. The total cost of a ticket from Newark Airport to Asbury Park is $22.30 for adults. Tickets can be purchased on NJ Transit app. The app will also provide accurate arrival and departure times. Please note this way is longer (2 hours) but you’ll get the full experience of riding the train and seeing NJ plus it’s more cost effective.
