In the summer of 2013, Patrick and Laura were introduced by Laura's sister Andrea and her husband Daniel - who also happens to be Patrick's best friend. They saw qualities in Patrick and Laura that they thought would be compatible and they were absolutely right! Laura and Patrick were the perfect match.

Fast forward 3 years to May of 2016. Patrick and Laura were visiting Laura's sister Ashley, her husband Jay and their new daughter, Claire in Asheville, NC. On their last night in town, the entire family had reservations at the extravagant Grove Park Inn. Patrick popped the question after a touching toast. Laura excitedly said yes, and the celebration ensued.
