Our Wedding

It all started when Brian swept Laura off her feet...quite literally when he pulled her up to the billiard table to dance at Pachinko's, a local watering hole at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, the couple's alma mater. Many thanks to their mutual comrade, Doug Gallow, for introducing Laura and Brian. Their romance was serious. But how serious? The distance over summer break made the answer all too obvious; Laura - emboldened by a night on the town in Baltimore- had to be sure. At three in the morning she phoned Brian, who having turned in early this particular evening awoke from a deep sleep to answer the call."So, are we dating?" Laura asked; her vulnerability laid bare. Brian replied with a simple and sober, "Huhuh, yeah babe." Shortly thereafter, Brian visited Laura and met the family in the "Port" (her hometown of Baltimore) in 2008. The rest is history. They lived in bliss as the two became inseparable during their college years. There were POP parties (pants-off parties, boxers included) with friends, nights eating at la Mia Cucina, and marathon Jurassic Park sessions. Now, Laura and Brian live and work in the Washington DC area. They enjoy hiking, volunteering with animals, and exploring local history sites (no reenactments yet!). They also love the beach, summering in Ocean City, NJ where Brian proposed on a morning sunrise walk (only after Brian mean-mugged a family into leaving the area). This dynamic duo celebrated with a boardwalk bike ride and donuts at Brown's Restaurant, an Ocean City tradition!They wish to thank their families and closest friends for all the love and support, and for what will be a wonderful wedding!!!

Brian and his new brother Stu share an appreciation for the finer things in life....dancing to Tiffany's "I think we're alone Now", good music and fountain pens. Brian is humbled and honored to have a best man as thoughtful and loyal as Stuart.

Laura and Megan have been best friends since sixth grade where they both attended and graduated from Notre Dame Preparatory School. They spent their summer days working together at Strapasta, mastering their math skills and kicking it at FILA field.

Brian and Carey first met in battle on the paintball course in high school. They rekindled their flame the first day at Miami when Chris asked Brian:"Aren't you that guy I played paintball with in the woods"? There have been many scuffles and bare-knuckle matches since, but Brian is eternally grateful for their friendship.

Laura met Elizabeth in the ninth grade when Elizabeth started her first year at NDP. They were instant friends when the two bonded over chocolatey chocolate muffins during their morning Draw/Paint class. They both live in Arlington, VA now and enjoy game nights, watching the Bachelorette and practicing the running man.

Laura and Alex have been friends since the sixth grade at NDP. Can you see a theme? They are best known for their dance videos (most popular: Baby Got Back). They also spent way to many hours at Padonia Pool bonding over the cute lifeguards and delicious soft serve ice cream. 

Alexandra Felts

From the first moment Brian asked Doug if he "was lookin" to enjoy the more raucous aspects of college, the two have been peas in a pod. These two titan intellectuals have studied geology in the field, shared a love of film and many a hazardous car trip to various haunts in America. Brian is thankful for Doug's introducing him to the love of his life, Laura.

Laura has known Chelsea, Brian's sister, since 2008, when the two quickly formed a relationship while attending Miami University. They share a love for Bagel and Deli, fitness and animals. Laura is honored and thrilled to finally have a sister!

Quad-mates, as well as soul mates, Brian and JP love talking sports (especially hockey), and the music of Silk. One of Brian's fondest memories is going to the Red Wings-Stars game in Detroit over Christmas break in 2008 with JP and the Pburg crew.

Delta Hotels Baltimore Hunt Valley

Guests are encouraged to use the Light Rail to get from Baltimore/Washington Airport to the hotels located in Hunt Valley, Maryland. One way trip costs $1.70 per person and will take roughly one hour. Get off at the Pepper Road stop (2nd to last stop before the end), and the hotels are within walking distance!Other options are to Uber which will take approximately 45 minutes and costs are unknown!

Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport
