When I first met Laura I was pretty nervous. We had been messaging each other for a couple weeks as she got over her first bout with Covid and I was afraid that I had nothing new to talk about when we actually met in person for the first time. It was also the first "real" date I had been on in forever. We were getting drinks next door to a taco place called Dos Santos and our conversation was so good I forgot that we were waiting to eat. I had missed multiple calls from Dos Santos saying that our table was ready. We went over there and thankfully they were able to seat us and we had a great dinner.

Over the next few weeks I found myself really wanting to see Laura more and more. We went and got chicken fingers at Occidental, or Club Oxy as we all call it, and she introduced me to all of her friends at a St. Paticks day party a little bit after that where it snowed so much in Denver that her car was under 4 feet of snow in the Highlands and she needed to stay over at my apartment til we could dig her car out.

I found over the next couple months that I was falling in love with this woman. Her and I share a lot of interests together. We both like playing sports and being active, we both like trying new things, and she pushes me to be a better person every day. We love going on ski trips and braving the traffic together in the winter and camping in the summer when the weather is nice. She would also take on the Denver traffic to come and see me when I didn't have a car which I was very thankful for. Being with her as much as possible made me happier than I had been in a very long time.

I can't wait to marry you Laura! I love waking up every day next to you and Porkchop and I can't wait to see what the future holds for us! I love you buh!
