Q: What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
A: You can arrive at Gem Theatre beginning at 5:00. You will be able to sit in the lobby until the ceremony space is ready to start welcoming guests to find their seats.
Q: Will the ceremony and reception be held in the same space?
A: Yes, the ceremony and reception will both be held at Gem Theatre in downtown Detroit.
Q: Is there parking available at the wedding venue?
A: Yes! There is a parking structure next to Gem Theatre. Please bring the complimentary voucher that was enclosed in your wedding invitation to receive free parking for the event. Valet parking is not available.

Q: What is the easiest way to get to and from the wedding venue?
A: We recommend driving and parking at the parking garage next to the venue. The parking pass included in your invitation will allow you to park there for free.
Uber, Lyft, and taxis are also readily available, and many hotels downtown are a short walk from Gem Theatre.
Q: Have you reserved a block of rooms?
A: We have reserved a block of rooms for Friday October 6th and Saturday October 7th at the Detroit Marriott Renaissance Center.

A: We are opting for an unplugged ceremony. Please make sure to silence your phone and keep it stored away during our ceremony.
Q: I have dietary restrictions/food allergies. What is the best way to let you know?
A: When you RSVP through our website, it will prompt you to make a note of any allergies or dietary restrictions you may have.
Q: Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
A: The ceremony and reception will be held indoors. Pending the weather, the cocktail hour will either be held outside on the patio, or inside the venue.
