Will my phone work in Europe?

Yes, it can! Most mobile providers offer international plans with daily charges, and some unlimited plans already include international service. The daily charge will activate automatically once you enable “Roaming” in your phone settings. Once activated, you can use your phone just like at home—with unlimited internet, talk, and text. Here are the current daily rates for the three major carriers: AT&T: $10 per day, Verizon: $12 per day, T-Mobile: $5 per day. Be sure to check with your provider for any specific details about your plan before traveling!

What about hot tools for my hair?

For your hair dryer and straightener: European countries use 220-240V voltage with Type C, E, or F plugs (different from the 110-120V used in the U.S.). Before bringing electronics, check the voltage rating on the device or power adapter:     •    Dual-voltage devices (100-240V, 50/60Hz) – Safe to use with just a plug adapter. Most phone chargers, laptops, and camera chargers fall into this category as well.
