We were lucky enough to meet because of some mutual friends. James has been Danny's best friend since childhood and Abby was dental school classmates with Laura. Since Abby and James were able to vouch for Danny and Laura's character and assure that neither of them were serial killers, Laura and Danny decided to meet for dinner at Condado's. Initially, Danny wondered if it was a convenient excuse for Laura to dodge a second date. However, he stuck out her 10-day quarantine, agreeing to a second date once she was better.
