Our ceremony will be held at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Houston (Montrose neighborhood). Laura's parents and grandparents were married in this church. Our ceremony will be between 35-45 minutes long, and will include a traditional orthodox ceremony. At the reception, you can expect lots of dancing and drinking! We plan on playing at least 1 traditional Greek song. We have attached a link below for a traditional Greek dance if you would like to learn before our big day!

What is the attire?
Formal, black-tie optional. Ladies should wear cocktail or formal dresses. Men should wear a suit & tie, sports coat, or break out the tux if you've got one in your closet! Also please feel free to bring a pair of shoes to change into during the reception to dance the night away!
Are kids invited?
Our ceremony & reception will be adults-only. We have a strict guest count for our venue and kindly ask you to leave the kiddos at home. We unfortunately cannot make exceptions for some and not all. Thank you for understanding and making arrangements ahead of time!
Can I bring a plus one?
We have a strict guest count to stay within capacity for the venue. The number of guests invited will be shown when you RSVP!
I am coming from out of town, where should I stay?
No problem! Check out the "Travel" page for information on hotel blocks we made for you. Our reception venue is also located in the heart of downtown Houston and there are many hotels to choose from that are walking distance to the reception. Please stay where you feel most comfortable!
How should we get to the ceremony and reception?
We strongly recommend carpooling or taking Ubers/Lyfts to the ceremony and reception as there will be limited parking. The church and venue are about a 10 minute drive from each other.
Will there be parking?
There will be a parking lot at the church guests can park in. The reception venue will have very limited valet space, so we strongly encourage carpooling, Ubering, or parking at your hotel and walking over.
What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
Please arrive 15-30 mins prior to the start of the ceremony. Ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 pm.
Is the ceremony/reception inside?
Yes! We decided not to take a chance on the Houston spring weather, so we will be indoors :)
Can we take pictures?
We have hired a professional photography company that will be taking photos for us throughout the night. During the ceremony, we ask you refrain from taking pictures with your phone or personal camera. During the reception, take as many photos as you like!
