Our Wedding

For those of you who don’t know, Zivalus and I met on a dating app—and even now, I’m still in awe of how God works. Zivalus had a rule that he would never date someone who was 21, yet he swiped right anyway, without either of us knowing that God was already writing our story.We talked here and there, and since I’m not much of a texter, he wasn’t sure if I was interested. But God knew our hearts, and we both knew we couldn’t truly understand what He was doing without meeting in person. So we went on our first date. Zivalus drove 45 minutes from Alpharetta to Lawrenceville just to see me—an effort that spoke volumes before I even realized how much it would mean.We walked through the park, talked, laughed, and slowly opened our hearts. We were both a little reserved at first, but there was a peace between us—a quiet certainty that God was present. With every date, our connection grew stronger, and I began to realize that the love I felt for him was unlike anything I had ever known.What drew me to Zivalus was his deep love for God, his kindness, his tenderness, his respect, and the way he loves with intention and humility. Through him, God showed me what a Christ-centered love truly looks like—patient, gentle, and unwavering.While our dating chapter may be coming to an end, this is only the beginning of the story God is continuing to write. I am beyond grateful that I get to walk this life with him, hand in hand, guided by faith. Our love is rooted in God, strengthened by Him, and unbreakable because of Him. I will forever thank God for placing us in each other’s paths.
