Our Wedding

We met on Thanksgiving in 2021. Andrew was on duty as a police officer and was invited to dinner by my mom, Roxanne, who is a chaplain for the police department. At that point, Andrew had known my mom for about three years but had never met me. Since my son, Jax, often accompanied my mom to the police department, he was known to charm all the officers, and this Thanksgiving was no exception. When Andrew showed up in uniform driving a police car, Jax was right there, being his usual playful self. For over an hour, Jax bombarded Andrew with questions about every piece of equipment and even got to check out the police car and play with the lights and siren. What Andrew didn’t know at the time was that I was already smitten by how he interacted with Jax. I jumped at the chance to introduce myself, and now, looking back, we all joke about it. But as Andrew left that night, there was something in the way I said, “It was so nice to meet you!” that left him smitten as well. Truth be told, I may or may not have already started planning our wedding that night. We became friends on social media after our first meeting. About a month later, Andrew had to undergo major surgery due to some health issues, and I stayed in touch with him, checking on his recovery and offering Netflix recommendations! Our conversations slowly turned flirty as we got to know each other over the next couple of months. By February, Andrew finally built up the courage to ask me on a date, and, true to form, he quickly messaged my mom to “rat” on himself for hitting on her daughter. Fortunately, my mom totally approved of this budding relationship! On our first date, we dove into deep conversations. Both of us had been through some tough relationships and had been divorced, so we were on the same page about not wanting to waste each other’s time. It’s safe to say we clicked, and a second date was a no-brainer! However, I forgot that Jax had no school that day (which, if you know me, is so unlike me…). So, Jax became the star of date number two! From that point on, we were inseparable. We spent the next several months making incredible memories: wine tasting, axe throwing, bowling, having kid-friendly adventure days with Jax and Harlow, lake days, concerts, Giants and Rivercats games, camping, vacations, and just tons of family time. Since our birthdays are only one day apart (August 14th and 15th), we also created new memories over shared birthday trips to Tahoe. Jax, Harlow and I practically lived at Andrew’s house, so it only made sense when we officially moved in together in the summer of 2023. That’s also when we decided to buy a boat! We fell more and more in love every day, and in November, we found out that our family was about to get a little bigger – Baby Graham was on the way! What I didn’t know when I told Andrew I was pregnant was that he had already been talking to my family and had plans to propose in December. On December 9th, 2023, surrounded by friends and family in one of our favorite places, Andrew popped the question – and, of course, I said yes! With baby on the way, we set our wedding date for the summer of 2025! In 2024, we bought a new home to make space for our growing family, and Baby Weston was born in July! I might be a little jealous that Weston got Andrew’s last name before I did, so let’s get to the I do’s already! Can’t wait to see you all in Jackson Hole!

No helmets are required for the Snake as it is a class III clear channel river. As a foundation, bathing suits are almost always the best place to start. We provide, free of charge, and splash jackets with hoods to help keep you dry. Do not wear heavy cotton clothing such as blue jeans or sweat pants and tops. When cotton gets wet it loses its insulation value. On warm, sunny days a bathing suit and t-shirt may be all you’ll need. If it is cooler, you’ll want to add synthetic layers like capilene or polypropylene or even polyester and nylon. Wool is also acceptable. Most long winter underwear is suitable as well. If you have polar fleece or polartec clothing, bring it! Wetsuits and wetsuit booties are available for rent. Wetsuit rentals are $9.00 and booties are $5.00. If you rent both, it’s only $11.00. There may be situations where we’ll require you to rent a wetsuit due to conditions. You are encouraged to bring along a towel and some dry clothes to be left on the bus for the return trip.  SATURDAY:  We will be horseback riding at Teton Village Trail Rides with a start time of 8 AM.  Chad Madsen, his family and crew take pride in providing the highest quality equine for any level rider, putting guest safety and experience above all. You know your body best! Pulling yourself up onto your horse and maintaining your balance throughout the entire ride is key.Close-toed shoes are a MUST. Riding boots with a slick bottom and a small heel is best but tennis shoes are fine too. Hiking boots are ok, but not recommended due to the heavy tread. Long pants are also suggested to protect your legs from bushes. If wearing a hat, please be sure it is tight fitting.While you don't NEED to bring anything, it's a good idea to bring some water with you during the summer months. Please refrain from bringing back packs and selfie sticks on the ride. Bringing bear spray on the trail rides are prohibited.   HOSTED DINNER  Mr. and Mrs. Randy Graham will be hosting everyone at Hand Fire Pizza at 4pm -6pm on Saturday evening.  Located in the historic Teton Theater, Hand Fire Pizza brings new life to old town Jackson Hole with a wild west feel. We focus on the most delicious pizza we can make, offering salads, desserts and specialities made fresh every day with organic and locally sourced ingredients where possible.   Address: Historic Teton Theater 120 N. There will be a hosted dinner with drink tickets for everyone!   PARK OPTION For those not going to the rodeo, or wanting to tailgate a bit before the rodeo, we have a shelter space reserved at Phil Baux Park adjacent to the rodeo grounds (BYOB).  It’s a nice park at the base of Snow King Mountain that has horseshoe pits and rock climbing walls for all skills and ages. The gates will open at 6:30pm!  In 1890, Sylvester Wilson brought the first group of settlers over Teton Pass into what is now Jackson Hole. He came with his family to raise cattle on the fertile grass, which grew abundantly in the valley. 120 years and six generations later, the pioneer spirit lives on through the Wilson family who continue the western heritage and traditions of the rodeo. Everyone will arrive at 1:30pm in the Jackson Hole Square directly across from the million dollar cowboy bar entrance at this address   Please understand that there is NO PARKING available at the venue. All guests will be shuttled to and from the wedding site.    Address: Bridger Teton National Forest   Additional info:  The Bridger-Teton National Forest is known for its wild and scenic watersheds, wildlife, and wildlands, and, in the Jackson and Blackrock Ranger Districts, its views of the Tetons. For decades, one tree with especially spectacular Teton views has been a popular wedding site. It’s so popular that it is known simply as “The Wedding Tree.” It’s also so popular that it must be reserved. To get to the wedding site, it will be a short trail walk after getting off the shuttle.We will have someone there to help direct you on where to go. Ladies please be mindful of your shoes you decide to wear!  There are no bathroom facilities located at the Wedding Tree site! Please make sure you use the bathrooms before we leave on the shuttle.   MILLION DOLLAR COWBOY BAR  After the ceremony, the shuttle will be bringing us right back to the location in front of the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar. Dinner and a Drink will be hosted. This will be the location where we all will celebrate Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Graham!    Address: Million dollar Cowboy Bar 25 N.
