Hi! Welcome to our Wedding Website!

Lauren here, and since I am in charge of writing our story, this is how I believe it went.

Mike and I met in the summer of 2012 at the Forestburgh Playhouse in upstate New York.

I fell in love with Mike Starr at first sight. Our friend, Zachary Bencal, came running up to me the day Mike arrived and said, "Lauren, you're in trouble." We were only about 20 years old and yet I was almost instantly certain that I would marry Mike one day.

Mike, I was right.

Amidst musicals, plays, cabarets, and waiting tables, the ultimate "showmance" began to blossom. Our first professional theatre job was a whirlwind. We loved our time at the playhouse so much that we chose to spend another summer there before going our separate ways for almost 10 years.

During the pandemic, I spent most days at my favorite coffee shop, The Uptown Garrison. On one particular day, Mike walked in, and from that moment, it was clear to us that our love had never left. After some *gentle* nudges from dear friends and family, I finally came to realize that maybe Mike and I had gotten it right 10 years ago.

Mike, you were right.

Have you ever see the movie Serendipity? (If you haven't, it's quite charming) Well, that's how falling back in love felt, and now I truly understand that timing is everything. I thank my lucky *starrs (see what I did there) that fate brought us back together.

We cannot wait to spend this incredibly special time with you all, and we hope that you come to fall in love with Tarrytown and the Hudson Valley just as we have.
