Here's the scoop on how the day will unfold on June 3rd

The Ceremony will start promptly at 5:30 PM. We'll be tying the knot at the beautiful Tappan Hill Mansion (81 Highland Ave, Tarrytown, NY 10591). Feel free to arrive as early as 5:00 PM to soak up the gorgeous views, grab some bubbles, and get settled in.

Transportation: Tappan Hill Mansion has plenty of valet parking available, but for those who prefer a shuttle ride, we'll have two leaving the Sheraton Tarrytown Hotel (600 White Plains Rd, Tarrytown, NY 10591) and heading to the venue at 4:45 PM and 5:10 PM. Staying at a different hotel? No worries! You're welcome to park at the Sheraton and hop on the shuttle with us. Each trip can fit 32 guests so we recommend getting to the hotel early to grab a spot. If not, you can grab an Uber/Lyft but plan at least 15 min ahead.

The After Party: Let's keep the good times rolling! (because we all know Lauren can never say goodbye) After the reception, we'll be heading over to the Sheraton Tarrytown Hotel for an after party with a cash bar. Shuttles will be leaving Tappan Hill Mansion following the reception at 11:00 PM and 11:15 PM to take anyone who wants to keep the party going back to the Sheraton Tarrytown Hotel.

Pro Tip: Ubers/Lyfts can take about 10-15 min to arrive in the area. Plan a bit ahead of time if you're planning on this as an option!

Hi! Welcome to our Wedding Website!Lauren here, and since I am in charge of writing our story, this is how I believe it went. Mike and I met in the summer of 2012 at the Forestburgh Playhouse in upstate New York. I fell in love with Mike Starr at first sight. Our friend, Zachary Bencal, came running up to me the day Mike arrived and said, "Lauren, you're in trouble." We were only about 20 years old and yet I was almost instantly certain that I would marry Mike one day. Mike, I was right.&nbsp; Amidst musicals, plays, cabarets, and waiting tables, the ultimate "showmance" began to blossom. Our first professional theatre job was a whirlwind. We loved our time at the playhouse so much that we chose to spend another summer there before going our separate ways for almost 10 years.&nbsp; During the pandemic, I spent most days at my favorite coffee shop, The Uptown Garrison. On one particular day, Mike walked in, and from that moment, it was clear to us that our love had never left. After some *gentle* nudges from dear friends and family, I finally came to realize that maybe Mike and I had gotten it right 10 years ago. Mike, you were right. Have you ever see the movie Serendipity? (If you haven't, it's quite charming) Well, that's how falling back in love felt, and now I truly understand that timing is everything. I thank my lucky *starrs (see what I did there) that fate brought us back together. We cannot wait to spend this incredibly special time with you all, and we hope that you come to fall in love with Tarrytown and the Hudson Valley just as we have.

How do I get There?

By Train

The Metro North - Hudson Line is an easy 45 min train from Grand Central or Harlem 125 stops in Manhattan. The train stops in Tarrytown and is a short 5 min Uber or 30 min walk to the venue. Come early and explore Main Street, full of bars, restaurants, shops, music halls, and history of Tarrytown/Sleepy Hollow. A 5 min walk from the station. There's a great little bakery in the Tarrytown train depot. <a href="https://www.theknot.com/gs/dashboard/preview/pages/85720671/paragraph-items/bakehouse.us" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">The Bakehouse of Tarrytown</a> We strongly suggest a visit if coming in early by train. We are a big fans of the coffee and cookies.

By Plane

The closest airport to Tarrytown is Westchester County NY (HPN) and is about a 30 min drive to Tarrytown. JFK, LGA, or Newark are also decent options-about 50 + min further by car. From any of these airports you can rent a car, ride share, or take public transit to Manhattan or your lodging in Tarrytown. HPN - closest airport to Tarrytown but will most likely involve a connecting flight to get out here.LGA - close option in NYC but not super easy public transportation. We recommend a car option from here. But you could also try the M60 bus to Manhattan and transfer from there.JFK - a further option but an affordable way to train in from the airport and easily transfer from the subway to the Metro North.Newark - the furthest option but another affordable train to train transfer from the airport.

By Car

We love driving from the city through the Hudson Valley. Takes about 40 min from Manhattan with minimal traffic. If this is your move, we suggest coming in early and parking near Main Street if you want to explore before the wedding festivities. There is ample parking at the venue with complimentary valet.

Uber/Lyft

Ubers and Lyfts are available in Tarrytown and usually pretty reliable morning and midday. They do tend to dwindle as it gets late so plan accordingly. Expect a 10 - 15min wait for ride share from the venue. From the Tarrytown train stop it's a 4 min drive to the venue. Plan ahead and try to allow for about a 10 min wait for Ubers and Lyfts to arrive.

The Bakehouse of Tarrytown

Coffee Labs Roasters has been a cornerstone of the New York coffee community since opening its doors in Tarrytown in 2003 as an integral part of the Main Street Revitalization. The coffee shop and roastery are located at 7 Main Street in downtown Tarrytown, NY. Located only a few minutes walk from historic Sleepy Hollow and the beautiful Tarrytown waterfront.

We toasted to finding our venue here and, since then, it has become a staple in any city escape through the Hudson Valley. Sit outside for a drink or lunch and enjoy the view of the bridge.

Lyndhurst mansion is currently closed but the grounds are open! Overlooking the Hudson River in Tarrytown, New York, is Lyndhurst, one of America’s finest Gothic Revival mansions. Designed in 1838 by Alexander Jackson Davis, its architectural brilliance is complemented by the park-like landscape of the estate and a comprehensive collection of original decorative arts. Its noteworthy occupants included: former New York City mayor William Paulding, merchant George Merritt, and railroad tycoon Jay Gould. Lyndhurst is a site of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
