General Questions
Where are you registered?
We are registered at multiple stores. All of the registered items, including our honeymoon fund, can be seen on our wedding website under Registry.
If you would like to purchase an item on our registry from a different retailer that's okay with us, but please let us know so we don't end up with duplicates.
Thank you so much for your generosity!
Where should I stay? Where can I fly into?
We have provided all this and more under the Travel & Hotels section of our Wedding Website.
When should I check in to my hotel?
Please check in to your hotel by Saturday night.
Hotel check-in times are 3pm, which is also the same time we recommend arriving at the venue on Sunday!
What is the dress code?
Dress code is cocktail dress. This means dresses or skirts knee length or longer, slacks with sport coats, or suit and tie are all acceptable options.
No specific color scheme, but please try to avoid monochrome white or black; keep it festive!
Can I bring a date / plus one to the wedding?
Due to the size of the guest list, we do not have space to accommodate additional guests.
Please only RSVP for those whose names are listed on your invitation.
Are children invited to the wedding?
Due to the size of the guest list and the presence of alcohol during the reception, this will be an adults-only event.
The only children invited are those who are in the wedding party or listed on your invitation.
Are there any events taking place on Saturday?
Nope! Feel free to plan your own gatherings. The festivities will begin on Sunday at 3:30pm.
The Venue
More information about the venue, including a detailed history of the property can be found on their website.
Please note that we are being married at Rosemont Manor not Rosemont Springs, which is a separate part of the property. The reception will be in the Carriage House next to the Manor House.
Where is the ceremony and reception?
The ceremony, reception, and party after the party will all take place on the property of the Historic Rosemont Manor.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Weather permitting, the ceremony will take place outdoors on a grassy field in the arbor, followed by an indoor reception easy walking distance from the ceremony.
There is also a rain plan for an indoor ceremony, should we need it.
Is there parking available?
Yes! There is plenty of parking on the property, in a large gravel lot just to the left of the manor house.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes! The first floor of the manor house (including bathrooms), the field where the ceremony will take place, and the reception hall are all wheelchair accessible with ramps.
The Ceremony
What time should we arrive at the wedding?
The ceremony will begin at 4pm, so we recommend arriving at the venue around 3pm to have plenty of time to find the venue, park, and take a seat.
Will this be a religious ceremony?
This will be a non-traditional Jewish ceremony. This will include many Jewish traditions that are important to the bride and groom, some with our own modern twist.
Many parts of the ceremony that are performed in Hebrew will be explained or repeated in English.
Will this be a phone free ceremony?
Yes, this will be a phone-free ceremony! The bride and groom thank you for respecting our decision and for helping make our day special!
What is a "phone-free" ceremony?
In order to encourage us all to be fully present during the ceremony, the couple asks that you not only silence your phones but put them away for the duration of the ceremony.
But what about taking pictures?
After the processional the bride and groom will encourage guests to take out their phones and take as many pictures as they can in 60 seconds! After that it's phones away until cocktail hour.
The couple will be happy to share the pictures from our professional photography team as soon as they're ready.
Does this apply to the cocktail hour and reception too?
Nope! Once the ceremony is over, you are encouraged use your phones to capture as many memories as you like!
Reception and After Party
Is this a BYOB reception?
NO! Please do NOT bring your own alcohol to the wedding. There will be a plentiful open bar, and the liquor license is in Noah's name. Any outside alcohol will get Noah in trouble with the Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Authority! So don't do it.
How long does the reception last?
The reception will begin around 5:30pm and end around 11pm at which time all guests must leave the Carriage House. However, there will be no grand send-off for the couple, and we intend to continue enjoying your company on the beautiful Rosemont property.
Will there be an after party? Where?
The after party will commence on the Rosemont property after the formal reception has ended. The grounds, fire pit, and the bathrooms in the manor house will be available to us all night long. Feel free to pack a change of clothes. Midnight snacks will be provided! Please note there is NO liquor consumption on the Rosemont property after the bar closes. However, serve yourself beer and wine will still be available.
After the Wedding
Where will the bride and groom be on monday morning?
Monday morning the bride and groom will have breakfast at Rosemont Manor with the wedding party.
We'd love for you to stop in to say goodbye!
After that, Lauren and Noah will check out at 11am and return to their home in Rockville, MD.
