Are children allowed at your wedding?
When you receive your invite, the entire party that will be invited will be included on the envelope!
What's the attire? Do you have color preferences?
Attire is formal (suit and tie or sports jacket for men, cocktail dress for women). It will be July near the coast, so I would estimate the weather will be around 80 degrees. We don't have any color preferences (just don't wear white!). If you'd like to go with our color scheme, you can wear greens and yellows.
Will there be dinner and drinks?
There will be hors d'oeuvres, dinner, beer, and wine, and cheesecake served. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let me know!
How should I get there?
I would recommend flying into John Wayne Airport. You can also do a road trip!
Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?
The ceremony will be at Community Church Congregational (611 Heliotrope Ave, Corona Del Mar, CA 92625).
The reception will be at The Winery (3131 West Coast Hwy, Newport Beach, CA 92663).
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
Both the ceremony and reception will be indoors.
What happens after the ceremony?
After the ceremony, the wedding party and families will be taking photos outside of the chapel. Everyone else will be transported to The Winery for hors d'oeuvres.
Are there other wedding events I can attend?
Yes! The day after the wedding (7/31) we will have a post-wedding brunch (location and time TBD) where people who are still in town can enjoy a meal together with the bride and groom before everyone heads home.
What should I do if I can't make it?
You will be missed! If you cannot make it to our wedding, please let us know ASAP and RSVP "no" so we can plan accordingly.
What time should I arrive?
I would recommend that everyone get to the chapel between 30-60 minutes early so that we can get the party started on schedule! Please arrive around 2:30-3pm so that you can find parking and we can get the ceremony started on schedule.
Can I bring a date?
We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?
Yes, we will have a hotel block for guests. It's called Hilton Orange County Costa Mesa and you can find more information on the "Places to Stay" page of this website, or contact Lauren or Julie for more info.
When is the RSVP deadline? Where do I RSVP?
Please RSVP by June 30th. Please RSVP on this website!
Where are you registered?
We are registered at Target. The registry is on this website! You can always opt for a check as a gift as well if you'd prefer.
Can I take and post pictures of your wedding on social media?
Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #PattersonSquared so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

Where can I rent a car?
If you’d like to rent a car, please contact Lauren to get information. John Patterson (father of the groom) has a special discount code through Hertz! Rentals will be anywhere from $25-30/day.
Will there be parking?
At the ceremony, folks will need to find street parking. It is in a residential neighborhood area, so there should be plenty of street parking nearby. At the reception, we will have a valet service!
