It is really hard to meet someone when you work so much- so Tim and Lauren both thought they would give online dating a shot. One night, Lauren was scrolling through the minimal amount of eligible bachelors (sigh) and came across Tim's profile. The thing that stood out to her- he was so normal! He seemed genuine and kind. He looked cute in all of his pictures, so Lauren sent him a message (not expecting too much). Within a couple of hours, he messaged Lauren back and they began chatting about likes, dislikes, friends, work, and pastimes. Both agreed that it was best to talk a while before meeting, so they spent the next weeks messaging back and forth.

Tim finally asked Lauren out on their first date on July 5th and met at Hudson Grille. The two things Lauren remembers thinking when she saw him were: " WOW HE'S TALL!" and "GAHH I HOPE MY HAIR LOOKS NORMAL". They sat down and ordered appetizers (spinach artichoke dip and sweet potato fries with a marshmallow dipping sauce). He mentioned at that time that he was gluten free. Lauren COULD HAVE WALKED AWAY, LOL. But allergies aside, there was something special about Tim.

Tim walked her to her car and immediately noticed her dirty headlights. He said "I can totally get those clean for you"! Lauren thought- "Hmmm I have never had a guy ask to clean my headlights before" LOL. (Lauren was a single girl in Atlanta, she was not going to pass that up!)

Tim asked Lauren out again that next week and the rest is history! They became "official" on August 15th 2014 and he proposed on April 14th, 2017.
